1.
“lights” (ellie goulding) – with a voice as sweet as candy, ellie manages to channel a sound that dictates indie and acoustic, even adding a kick in the tempo. if you like little boots & pixie lott, you’ll be sure to love ellie. a new artist on the music scene, keep your eye on this one.

2. “million faces” (paolo nutini) – wonderfully sung, listening to this paolo song will put a smile on your face. whether you’re listening from headphones on a cross country flight, or powering through your work day in an office high rise, you’ll feel as though you’re right there with paolo, as the instrumentation & arrangement in each of his tracks hold a very live, loving feel.

3. “fortress” (pinback) –with a poppy feel in the chorus, this particular song is best played cruising down the PCH, top down with the breeze flowin through your hair. the casually sung verses balance out the kick heard post-chorus. this one’s not to miss, especially for your next anticipated road trip.
