i love seeing your progress! it looks great! i'm moving at the end of the month, and like you i want it all painted, and decorated quickly.
Your little sneak peeks are awesome - love everything you are doing with the loft. This West Elm island is great!
PS. The pic of you guys reminds of that delicious meal in NYC we had - YUM! Miss you!

LOVE! I am moving next month, so seeing all your pictures and excitement makes me even more excited!! Keep it comin' :)
I love a good chalk board, especially in the kitchen. So handy.

Enviable items in this post:

-Your perfect messy bun (how do you do it!?)
THE KITCHEN IS SO CUTE! LOVE the west elm table.
Would love to know where your cabinets came from--love the whole look!
The kitchen island (and everything) looks great! Your place is really coming together. So fresh and unique. Question that you might know the answer to... for a long time I've wanted to add some chalkboard paint to my kitchen, but I'm afraid it will be difficult to paint over in the future. Do you happen to know if it is the same as painting over any other paint?
looks awesome!!
Great shots...love all those images! Can't wait to see the final product as your place progresses... :)
My fiance and I are torn between the loft-style and the garden-style apartments at park la brea... but you're tipping the scale!
oh man, i love your kitchen!
bri, your kitchen is BEAUTIFUL! I would be cooking up a storm...but then freaking out about the mess.

l-o-v-e the island!!
....and any fern will always remind me of Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days: "Our love fern! You let it die! Are you going to let us die?" ... oh good stuff. Hah pretty pics too!
love how your kitchen is coming along! the island and wall are amazing. a chalkboard wall is a number one on my list for when i have a place i can actually paint!
Oh man, you have a chalkboard wall!!! I am completely jealous. I can't wait until I can have one too. Your place is looking lovely.
Looks gorgeous thus far. Hopefully you two enjoyed a bottle of champagne (or other adult celebrating beverage) when you moved in. Making progress this quickly is quite the feat... and I have to admit that I wish the little city I live in had lofts like this one! Would make finding a place that much easier!
its looking good! love your modern kitchen + sweet pic!
