B R I S H O P S

i was having brunch with my boy over at food + lab in silver lake and noticed an adorable new shop had opened up next door. hemingway and pickett!

The interior ceiling, shelves and "archways" are constructed using reclaimed wood from shipping pallet which makes the store look instantly awesome! they sell all sorts of art, furniture and fun little trinkets for your home. stop by there if you get the chance!

UHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT.
I am dying right now. THE PANTONE MUGS, that RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING POUF THAT I WANT TO JUMP INTO THE PICTURE FOR, the deer-head, those graphic print Mexican blankets in the last picture, the cute little red printed pillows, whattt is this amazingness. I mean not actually what is it because I know that the name is Hemingway and Picket but like....I'm losing it right now. This looks like the most magnificently curated store EVER. I have never wanted a pouf so bad in my life. I hate all the harsh metallic gold and silver Moroccon ones out there and really want something ethnic-looking and soft and made of fabric, like that one. I am jealous I don't live in LA when you talk about silverlake, and jealous when you talk about blogshop, but these pictures are seriously doing me in. I need to fly to LA with a suitcase big enough for that pouf.

oh my GOD and I just noticed acrylic and/or lucite tables/cubes, and that ORGASMIC bright cheery yellow tray on the table (in the first pic), and a graphic pillow at the back (also in the first pic) that looks like a tic-tac-toe board but with Mondrian-esque colors and squares. omgggggg I have to go to this store!!!!
