arian and i wandered around new york for a few days and it was beyond perfect. i might have shin splints from the immense amount of walking, but it was well worth it. we had amazing meals, sat in the park and relaxed, laughed for hours with old friends, did some shopping, stumbled upon a basement full of treasures in chelsea, and enjoyed the sweet sounds of a bluegrass band in willamsburg...and the best part was: i didn't work. not one little bit. a true break...
