S O R R Y
so i am gonna be honest here. because i am really good at that. i used to hear the word J.Crew and my response would be "meh"...i just couldn't get into it! but then bri got a little older, and that switched the game up. now i just can't get enough of their beautiful styling, the way they mix solids with sprinkles of sparkle, and their use of color is outstanding. now i am totally mad at my younger self for just not getting it. and kudos to you, jenna lyons!

Right though! I used to cringe at JCrew also, but the last couple years (thanks to Jenna) it's seriously amazeballs. Love love love.
Agreed! Jenna can't do wrong in my book. Her house was featured in Domino once and that was quite amazing too.

loving the blue! the sequin maxi is fab but i think a bit unrealistic for everyday.
I agree with both of the previous commenters, I think Jenna has really improved the brand and everything their doing now with the higher end items and partnering with other brands to make exclusives is genius in my book. They have really done a nice job of elevating their brand.
Funny just last weekend I was in the J Crew store in SoHo and telling my friend that I never would have been caught dead in J.Crew in my younger years, but now I am obsessed, both with their ladies clothes and I've been forcing my boyfriend into the menswear!

you might have gotten older, but it also just got SOOO much better in the last couple years after JL took over. every catalog has my heart racing.
Oh yay, I'm not the only one who wasn't big on J.Crew. It seems like just about everyone in blogland is obsessed and has been. J.Crew grew on me after this last collection.
WORD. I always thought it was "too prepster"... but now it is BEYOND. Really the last year, but this F/W2010 collection just NAILED it.
