O P E N S E S A M E

ever since i was little i was obsessed with tree houses, small secret spots in the woods, hideouts, forts built pretty much anywhere, opening walls from pushing a book in mystery novels, that scene where Christini Ricci goes into that awesome basement maze in Casper from pulling a lampshade string, passwords like Open Sesame from Ali Baba...pretty much anything that made me feel like a super important spy.

this is giselle & some tree houses. i mixed them together, well, because i can.

ok, so this doesn't have anything to do with your post (I apologize).. I just saw your tweet about the rosebowl market -- I was there yesterday! SO amazing. I took tons of photos and am dying to blog it out but can't just yet because my coworkers think I was back home for a wedding and not visiting my boyfriend in LA (it's complicated).
By chance, I'll be in LA for next month's market, too. so excited! it's like nothing I've ever seen :)

I didn't, but my boyfriend picked up bunch of vintage boxes and this cool, old fencing mask. I think I'm just going to say "screw it" and put the pics up in the next few days. be on the lookout!
